Senior Health Clinics

Here at Tern Vets we like to offer preventative health services to ensure that your pet gets the best service of care possible. Research suggests that the ageing process can affect cats’ and dogs’ health once they reach 8 years of age for a dog and 10 years of age for a cat, and that their dietary requirements change. The effects of this process can often be subtle, but can be picked up at an early stage; giving you the opportunity to maintain your pet’s quality of life.

We are now offering FREE Senior Pet Clinics to allow our Veterinary Nurses to discuss preventative health care for your pet, discuss any concerns you may have and help you keep your pet healthy for longer. During the clinics we will be offering FREE urine tests to identify any early stages of unforeseen problems. Please pop in to our surgery for a sterile sample pot.

Here is a short questionnaire for you to fill in to help us identify any problems. Please bring this with you when you come in for your pets senior clinic.
