Hospitalisation

This is what happens if your pet is so unwell that we want to keep them in our surgery so we can give the treatment they need. This may involve a stay of days or even weeks in particular cases.

We have heated, comfortable kennelling, quiet and isolated if necessary, for this purpose.

If we admit your pet for care overnight, your vet will explain the level of monitoring that your pet will receive.

We have a duty vet and nurse on call every night at our Market Drayton surgery. Each case will have a specific monitoring plan created according to the level of supervision and treatment needed: checks can be as regular as required throughout the night, and all patients are backed up by close up surveillance cameras which are visible to our vets.

Our practice at Market Drayton has accommodation for nurses to stay overnight for those cases that need constant monitoring, and emergency intervention if necessary.
