Our Vets are available by appointment to diagnose and treat illness as well as carry out a variety of health care procedures. Appointments can be made by telephone or at our reception desk and priority is given to urgent cases.

Our team of experienced vets and nurses perform a variety of operations on a daily basis at our Market Drayton and Newport surgeries. We use state of the art equipment in modern theatres with pets monitored by nurses continuously using digital recording equipment.
We will endeavour to meet any request for a home visit to examine an animal, especially when travel may cause undue distress if the animal is already unwell. However, in most instances, full treatment and investigations can only be carried out at the surgery and this would be discussed at the time.
We at Tern Veterinary Group strongly recommend insurance to all our clients for their pets. Accidents happen and illnesses develop despite the best of care, being able to pursue full investigations and employ the most up to date treatments will always achieve the best results.
These are socialisation classes held at our Market Drayton practice on a fortnightly basis on a Wednesday night at 6.30. They are an evening class, free of charge to our clients, to encourage and instruct owners on how to start the process of training and social interaction of your puppy with other puppies.
Microchipping your pet is a permanent method of identification. It involves implanting a small microchip (the size of a grain of rice) under the skin at the back of the neck, a very quick procedure that is very similar to an injection.

If you require our assistance in an emergency when the practice is closed then we have a duty vet and duty nurse on call to assist you.
