About Us
The practice was established over 100 years ago and moved to its present site 10 years ago. The practice has a branch in Newport. The practice provided veterinary treatment to domestic pets, farm animals and horses.
The Team
Partners
Nick Rowe – Nick qualified from London in 1979 and started work in Cheshire. After a short spell in New Zealand, Nick returned to England and Market Drayton to join the practice as a farm animal vet.
Mike Richardson – Mike qualified from London in 1981 and started work in Yorkshire in a mixed practice. After a short spell he moved to Lincolnshire and then Lancashire where he spent four years doing solely large animal work. Mike joined the practice as a farm animal vet in 1989.
Dermot Costelloe – Dermot qualified from Dublin in 1986 and started work in Wales in mixed practice. He moved to Oxfordshire before settling in Market Drayton. Dermot is our small animal partner. He has a keen interest in farming and has his own flock of Beltex sheep.
John Steel – John qualified from Edinburgh in 1997 after completing a degree in Agriculture at Newcastle ( specialising in animal production). He has gained a wide range of experience in several practices around the country and became a partner in 2008. He brings a wealth of practical knowledge to both our large and small animal teams.
